Chair of the Board
Mr. Brodersen is the Chair of the Board of Directors of Crescero, and has over 30 years of experience in institutional asset management and corporate governance. He is currently a Director of PSP Investments/Investissements PSP and Quantum Advisors Private Limited.
Previously he was Chief Investment Officer of the Alberta Teachers’ Retirement Fund, Chair of the Board Investment Committee at the University of Alberta and a member of the Investment Committee of the Municipal Penson Plan of BC. He also has served on the Boards of the Pacific Pension and Investment Institute and the Canadian Coalition for Good Governance.
Derek has an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and a BComm from the University of Manitoba. He is a CFA Charterholder and has an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
